Bryan Smith is an adventure filmmaker and expedition kayaker based out of Squamish, British Columbia. His involvement in the paddling industry spans both the sea and whitewater realms.  He built an impressive set of credentials on the sea through the British Canoe Union and went on to co-found Body Boat Blade International sea kayaking school.  Paddling first descents on steep, difficult rivers has taken him all over the world including Peru, India, British Columbia and Washington. – Read More.

Lise-Anne Beyries grew up in Montréal, Quebec.  She got into kayaking in the late 80’s and started raft guiding when her girlfriends in the city didn’t exactly hang out in the outdoors.  With a strong background in gymnastics, Lise-Anne’s has always excelled as an athlete. After a Political Sciences BA at Concordia University and uncertainty on how to put all her interests together, she followed her heart to the big mountains of Whistler, British Columbia. – Read More.

MATT MADDALONI Rigger/Grip/Equipment Designer

Matt has been a sponsored climber for 10 years and lives in Squamish,BC with his wife Annie. His passion for climbing has resulted in first ascents in remote locations like Pakistan where he soloed a mountain alone for 3 weeks, or spent 25 nights on a portaledge while climbing a 3000 foot wall in Baffin Island, 500 km above the arctic circle. As an athlete in the media he has had years of experience in adventure sport films and recently has turned his energy to help film them by inventing new rigging and camera angles. -Read More.

FITZ CAHALL Writer/Producer

Seattle-based writer and new-media producer, Fitz Cahall has been telling outdoor stories in print, on the web and across campfires for 10 years. Three years ago he made the leap into multimedia when he launched the popular online radio show The Dirtbag Diaries in which he covered soldiers’ struggles to maintain a connection to wilderness during Iraq War’s deadliest months and a humorous look at our dependence on fossil fuels for recreation. “We all take our marching orders from wild places,” says Cahall, a climber at heart. – Read More.

With a strong background in storytelling and adventure sport film production, Tim spends his time exploring the world around him. Tim currently works as a Freelance Camera Operator. He can be found capturing moments that range from jam-packed stadiums at the world’s largest live events to some of the world’s most remote places with a group of friends. Some of Tim’s recent clients include: Red Bull, National Geographic Adventure, Whistler Blackcomb, Subaru’s Freeskiing World Tour, dose.ca, Whistler Live and the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. A perpetual transplant, Marylander Todd Gillman has been following his wanderlust since graduating high school in 1991. Since then, Todd has established domicile in West Virginia (twice), North Carolina, Idaho, Colorado (3 times!), Wyoming, & now, finally, Washington. Along the way, he picked up a couple nasty habits: kayaking, snowboarding, kayaking, cycling, beer & kayaking. Phil Tifo is a French Canadian who grew up in Gatineau, QC. At the age of 19 he took a year off school and headed west to Whistler and see what the big mountains had to offer. Shane Robinson has finally found himself a home in the world of paddle sports as a cameraman, activist and Seattle-based explorer. Shane is a fifth generation Eastern Colorado native whose migratory compass has been set on the Northwest ever since leaving the roost. A momentary settling just slightly west in the Colorado Rockies was Shane’s first exposure to mountain lifestyle, and he would never be the same after working as a raft guide on the Arkansas River. This would also provide the start of his kayaking and video habit, filming the thousands of rafters every summer as a video kayaker. -Read More.
