His involvement in the paddling industry spans both the sea and whitewater realms. Lise-Anne Beyries Assistant Director/Photographer/Scripting/Athlete Lise-Anne Beyries grew up in Montréal, Quebec. She got into kayaking in the late 80’s and started raft guiding when her girlfriends in the city didn’t exactly hang out in the outdoors. With a strong background in gymnastics, Lise-Anne’s has always excelled as an athlete. Todd Gillman Photographer/Author/Athlete A perpetual transplant, Marylander Todd Gillman has been following his wanderlust since graduating high school in 1991. Since then, Todd has established domicile in West Virginia (twice), North Carolina, Idaho, Colorado (3 times!), Wyoming, & now, finally, Washington. Along the way, he picked up a couple nasty habits: kayaking, snowboarding, kayaking, cycling, beer & kayaking. Shane Robinson Cinematographer/Athlete/Attorney Shane Robinson has finally found himself a home in the world of paddle sports as a cameraman, activist and Seattle-based explorer. Shane is a fifth generation Eastern Colorado native whose migratory compass has been set on the Northwest ever since leaving the roost. A momentary settling just slightly west in the Colorado Rockies was Shane’s first exposure to mountain lifestyle, and he would never be the same after working as a raft guide on the Arkansas River. Tim Lobier Cinematographer/Athlete Tim first captured moving water as a young kid exploring the river banks of the Mississippi. One Friendly Almonte morning, in ‘93, he aimlessly wandered down a dirt road in search of a watering hole to dunk himself. He happened upon a sign nestled off the side of the road that read: "No Tresspasing." Tim read, out loud, the rusty bullet wounded sign, unknowingly confusing his French Canadian and English heritage, "Non tres pas sing." He mistook the sign to be a confused warning to forest singers and continued on his way.
