Writer/Producer/Athlete
Seattle-based writer and new-media producer, Fitz Cahall has been telling outdoor stories in print, on the web and across campfires for 10 years. Three years ago he made the leap into multimedia when he launched the popular online radio show The Dirtbag Diaries in which he covered soldiers’ struggles to maintain a connection to wilderness during Iraq War’s deadliest months and a humorous look at our dependence on fossil fuels for recreation. “We all take our marching orders from wild places,” says Cahall, a climber at heart. “Sometimes the resulting stories are powerful. Sometimes funny. My favorites are about the underdogs – the people amongst us who do more with less.” The Season is his first film project. .
