Winner "Best Overall" 2006 National Paddling Film Festival

BC Summer 2006 was produced by Reel Water in the Fall of 2006 following one of the best kayaking seasons ever in the British Columbia’s lower mainland.  With segments on Skookum Creek, the Ashlu River, a multi-day journey on the Stein, and the famous Tatlow Creek, this short was the start of Reel Water’s award winning reputation.  Reel Water reveled aerial zip line footage for the first time in BC Summer 06 and hinted at the troubles on the Ashlu that would later spur us to produce 49 Megawatts.  While still in the genre of "kayaking porn", BC Summer 06 combined the lifestyles, personalities, and passions of paddlers with incredible whitewater footage.
