During the summer of 2007 Reel Water directed and produced the award winning film Pacific Horizons.  Showcasing some of the world’s most sought after sea kayaking destinations, Pacific Horizons captures the essence of the Ocean and inspires everyone to get out on the water a go kayaking!  Blending wildlife, people, places and action-packed kayaking, the film documents impressive tidal race surfing in British Columbia, the Orca whales of the San Juan Islands, the Bunsby islands off the remote coast of Vancouver island, “commando kayaking” with Greenland rolling and ropes gymnastics champion Dubside, the wind and waves of the Oregon coast and much more!

Pacific Horizons was the first adventure film to document the great sea kayaking destinations of the Northwest and was shot in High Definition using the Sony AVR A1U and HVR Z1U cameras with waterproof housings and mounts.

"The DVD makes me want to load up my kayak and head to the Northwest.  You and your crew certainly captured the true essence of sea kayaking with wonderful videography and over-the-top locations.  Many thanks for doing it right!"
